Expert Session on Drone Technology at Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Sagar Group of Institutions successfully organized and executed an Expert Session on DroneTechnology with speaker Mr. Yashraj Sunhare, Founder and CEO of Jarvis Labs Pvt. Ltd.

The expert received a warm and heartfelt welcome from the Principal of the Institute Dr. Manish Billore and the Department Head Mr. Ashish Singhal. Dr. Manish Billore, in his welcome speech, emphasized the need for learning interdisciplinary technologies finding broader commercial applications, and paving way for job creation. Mr. Ashish Singhal talked about the sudden popularity of Drones and how it will benefit the students if they get into this field.

The expert Mr. Yashraj Sunhare explained all about drone technology, market share in the present and in the coming future which was a big motivation for all those who were attending. He discussed the science & technology that goes into the development of Drone. He further elaborated on the material requirement, design aspect, and applications of Drones. He also explained to the students about various job opportunities for various engineering streams that go into the assembly of Drones. Nearly 120 students from Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, and Computer Science & Engineering attended this expert session and got benefited.

The event concluded with him successfully “piloting-a-drone” on the college campus.
