About Internet of Things | SISTec Ratibad | Engineering Colleges in Bhopal |

The Internet of Things
plays a vital role in daily life objects from industrial machines to wearable
devices using built-in sensors to collect data and take action on that data
across a network. So it’s a basic building that uses sensors to automatically
adjust heating and lighting. Or we can say simply, the Internet of Things is the future of technology that can make our lives more efficient and simple.
Importance of Internet of Things
We might be excited to learn how many things are connected to
the Internet, and how much economical is we can derive from analyzing the
resulting data streams. Here are some examples which impact on the industries
with the help of IoT. Intelligent transport solutions, like traffic control,
reduce fuel consumption, prioritize vehicle repair schedules etc. It is also
used in smart electric grids more efficiently to connect renewable resources
and improve system reliability. Here machine monitoring sensors diagnose and
predict the pending maintenance issues, near term part stockouts, and even
prioritize maintenance crew schedules for repair equipment and regional needs.
With the help of IoT data driven systems are being built into the
infrastructure of “smart cities” to make it easier for municipalities to run
waste management, law enforcement and other things are more efficiently
etc.
How Does the Internet of Things Work?
Actually the Internet of Things is one huge cloud. The Internet
of Things consists of all the web enabled devices that collect, send and act on
data which is access from their surrounding environment using embedded sensors,
processors and communication hardware. These devices generally called connected
or smart devices, can sometimes talk to other related devices by a process
called machine-to-machine communication, and act on the information they
get from one another. Humans can interact with the gadgets to set them up, give
them instructions or access the data, but the devices do most of the work on
their own without human intervention. The devices which connected also generate
huge amounts of Internet traffic density including loads of data that can be
used to make the devices useful, but can also be mined for other purposes. All
this new data, and the Internet accessible nature of the devices, increases
both privacy and security of the system.
The Internet of things is mostly used in health care,
manufacturing, retail and telecommunication sectors.
Sagar Group of Institutions –
SISTec is one of
the best technical institute in
central India which
provides training modules regularly to improve the skills of students & to
fill the gap between the industry and Institute.
Especially, Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering SISTec Ratibad Bhopal provides the training module on the
Internet of Things using Raspberry Pi.
