FDP on ARM Cortex Microcontroller for Renewable Energy Source Integration


The Department of Electrical Engineering at Sagar Group of Institutions - Sagar Institute of Science Technology & Engineering (SISTec-E) organized a Two-Day Faculty Development Programme titled “ARM Cortex Microcontroller for Renewable Energy Source Integration” sponsored by Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) under the Third Phase of Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-III).

The program was specially designed for the faculties and the course covered the following major topics by the experts Dr. M. A. Mulla (Associate Professor, S.V.N.I.T, Surat) and Mr. S. M. Juned (Training Head, National Infotech)

1.) Renewable Source Integration using ARM Cortex-M4 Microcontroller

2.) Blocksets for Programming GPIO, LCD, and Keyboard

3.) Blocksets for Programming TIMERS, ADC, and DAC

4.) Development of PLL and MPPT using ARM Cortex-M4 Microcontroller

5.) Demonstration of P & O MPPT using ARM Cortex-M4 Controller


In these two days, many hands-on sessions were taken covering major topics such as the features of STM32F407xx — Controller, pin configuration, configuring target setup & digital output in Simulink, burning the code in the flash memory of the Microcontroller using MATLAB, etc.
